The certainty of a fixed fee
We recognise our clients' need for certainty in budgeting for legal costs, and for this reason we are happy to offer fixed fee quotations. In fact, most of the work that we undertake for clients is done on the basis of a fixed fee. As an example, if you asked us to draw up a particular contract for you, or to draft a set of terms and conditions for your business, we would give you a fixed figure for doing this work, so that you would know from the outset exactly what the cost to your business would be.
Charging in this way also has the advantage of you knowing that you can call or email your solicitor when you need to, without the worry that every minute spent by your solicitor on the phone or replying to your email is increasing the fee that you will have to pay.
Examples of the kinds of services we can offer you on a fixed-fee basis include:
| Company formations. | Standard terms and conditions for your dealings. |
| Shareholders agreements. | Non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements. |
| Partnership or LLP Agreements. | Distributorship agreements. |
| Website privacy policies and terms of use. | Agency agreements. |
| Terms and conditions for online sales. | Purchase order terms. |
Hourly Rate
For certain types of work, such as negotiating a contract on your behalf, we are unable to offer a fixed fee quotation as the work is open-ended and the time that it will take to complete is not within our control. Where this is the case, we charge for the work done at our extremely competitive hourly rate, which reflects the cost-savings we obtain through operating as a "virtual" law firm.
If you require a fixed fee quotation, or would like to discuss our charging structure with us in greater detail, please do not hesitate to contact us.
